Who are we?
A group of Falkland House patients – all PPG volunteers
What do we do?
We support the work of the Falkland House Team, and also represent the interests of the patients
Our key activities between June 2024 and May 2025 are:
- Conducting a patient survey on behalf of the Surgery. See the Full Report and Brief Summary below.
- Producing two Patient Guides giving information about how the Surgery links with local medical services to provide patient care. Look out for Guides 1 and 2 in Spring 2025.
- Running the 2024 PPG Christmas Quiz. This raised more than £1100 for local charities and to support Falkland House patients.
- Working with the Porter Valley Primary Care Network to promote ‘Patient Voice’ across six local practices. Two events have been held in July 2024 and February 2025.
The PPG also continued to support the Surgery’s vaccination program in Autumn 2024 and is working on an ongoing basis to maintain the Surgery grounds, and keep patients informed through the Newsletter and waiting room screen.

Join us at our quarterly meetings and contribute your ideas, skills and knowledge – and any time you have to spare – to support the PPG’s activities.

All to take place 6pm – 8pm at Falkland House Surgery.
